How the Challenge Works

Every gift made during the challenge counts toward your university's total. Gifts of any size are welcome, and the institution with the most gifts at the end of the campaign will be named the 2026 Apple Cup Food Pantry Challenge winner.

This challenge celebrates participation and collective impact while supporting students at both universities.

Supporting Student Success

Access to reliable, nutritious food is foundational to student well-being and academic success. Yet food insecurity remains a reality for many college students across Washington. Two in five college students in Washington State face food insecurity.

Your gift helps campus food pantries provide food and basic necessities so students can focus on learning, growing, and achieving their goals.
