Invest in the Cougar Community. Support Student life.
Student Affairs is committed to creating opportunities for all Cougs to learn, lead, and grow. Our mission is to provide programs and services centered on whole-person wellness, equity and social justice, leadership, and civic engagement that help students discover their path.
Giving to Student Affairs lets you directly support the success of all Cougs. Your contribution allows us provide the resources students need to build their Cougar family, learn the power skills they need to be successful, and make a lasting impact on their campus and in the community.

Student Emergency Fund – Many students experience crisis situations during their college years – particularly during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Students have called this fund a lifeline because it helps them pay for fundamental needs such as rent, food, utilities, and medications. Financial assistance distributed through this fund alleviates financial stress and allows students to focus on their studies and extracurricular pursuits.
Vice President of Student Affairs Development Fund –The Division of Student Affairs’ unique mission gives us frequent opportunities to create distinctive programming for students, faculty, and staff. This fund supports the highest priorities within the Division, at the discretion of the vice president, by providing valuable professional development activities and allowing us to develop special projects that help advance our mission and goals.
First at WSU Fund – Nearly 40 percent of WSU’s students identify as first-generation. Many of these students struggle to cover the basic costs of their education, and additional expenses such as studying abroad, visiting graduate schools, or exploring career opportunities are often out of reach. This fund helps level the playing field for first-gen Cougs by covering expenses such as travel costs for job interviews and internships, application fees for graduate school, and fees associated with studying abroad.
